Send Me Your Best Track
Posted Feb 11, 2011

Real deal critical feedback is solid fucking gold. It’s also pretty rare, especially in adolescent culture of hip hop. Rap is weird shit: the formula is simple but the permutations are infinite. News Flash: all of your assumptions about me are probably wrong. I listen to everything, I study hip hop because I love it.
I’m not a hater...or at least, I’m a recovering hater. Unlike most self-professed critics, I take no joy in giving negative feedback. I don’t do this when I’m in a bad mood, I do it when I am Stoned Immaculate and in love with the entire Universe. My feedback will be about craftsmanship: your lyrics, your mixing, your delivery, and how it measures up to The Standard. Of course, you don’t care about me at all, at least not if you’re smart—you care about You. So what about You?
Obviously I’m not going to make you famous. This is just a public service—one more resource for hard-working underground rappers who rap. If you really want a critical ear...Uncle Humpasaur is here for you.
Real Simple Rules: just send your best track, your contact information, and a bio. Send all that to and we’ll take it from there.
